OK, Flying Legends get's busy, VERY busy and getting photos of anything on the ground, without a dozen people in frame, is nigh on impossible.Normally I just accept this and post the picture, then prior to next years show, I'll de-clutter a few. This year I took this picture, I really like it ( except for the Red Bull logo.....a small price, to see this wonderful aircraft but does it have to be that big!!?)...sorry I digress.....Red Bull aside this picture was full of people...they had to go! So here we have 'The Flying Bulls' (German) F4U-4 Corsair, minus 24 people and 8 aircraft....I hope you'll forgive me........

If you hadn't confessed, I wouldn't have known!.. fantastic job at pest control... the bugbear of any 'show'... It's now like the F4U has personally posed for you!!.... A very cool shot!

This beautiful Red Bull beast was here just a few weeks ago. It crossed in formation with the P-38 the border from Austria. It was a great picture in the sky and a wonderful sound over there... yeah... I love the sound of this beasts...

Fantastic result! I prefer my Corsairs to be uninterrupted, too.

On close inspection I see you have the same problem I have with adjusting a photo/image - reiteration. The foreground repeats. This is VERY difficult to avoid, especially with a lot of foreground clutter and not enough varied background to break up an iterative pattern. However, this problem aside, you've done a good job. The plane really stands out beautifully, and I don't see any red bulls in the photo (shot, roasted and eaten?). Keep up the good work, Neil! Looking foreward to your next post! :-)

All is forgiven lol. Yes I have the same thing at classic car shows too and I do wonder when i'm looking at something am I in someone's way as well. Good work on losing the crowd, i'm sure they wouldn't be offended :)

Nice job mate! Impressed I am lol Got to agree about people, they can be such ignorant planks sometimes, others will wait or move, as it should be.. The aircraft at the back I always like.. This year there were a Beaver and an An2 parked I spotted.. So... Taste I 'Spose! lol The Red Bull? Hate It! And, it was worse on their P-38 last year! Looked great flying though LOL Well done! Rob

debbielove: yes there was also a nice red 2 seater autogyro in the background of this....bound to show up somewhere along the way......

You did great!

Now, if the organisers were really helpful, they'd supply "empty" background stills of the airfield from certain vantage points for photographers to use when "cloning" out the clutter ;-) Great photo though...
