Description
The Monument of King Rama I was built in 1996 in honor of the Great king. It is found along the way going to Amphoe Prakhon Chai. The monument was erected since it was King Rama I who founded the province of Buriram while he served as Somdet Phraya Maha Kasatsuek.
Made out of bronze, the Monument of King Rama I feature a larger than life image of the king wearing a traditional warrior outfit while riding on an elephant.
A difficult shot to take as the sun was so bright at the time so first time used cameras HDR mode
