With our declining bee population, I don't like seeing this. but on the other hand, the spider didn't ask for its dietary behaviour. Nature is a wonder and a cruelty. Fantastic shot though Andrea.

Egad, I bet that poor bee, going about its daily pollinating chores, never knew what hit it; furtively ambushed amidst the pretty flowers. You would think that the Crab Spider, perhaps aware of the dire fate of honey bees worldwide, would have been a bit more selective in its choice of prey.
