Description

My attempt at honouring all those men & women of the RAF during WWII who kept those incredible airplanes in the air. Day after day they witnessed the savagery of war and tallied the non returning crews and still they persisted at keeping those aircraft working. Its my turn to try out my RAF ground support equipment in a render, and not as a product type shot. It was all setup in Poser then imported into Vue & some post work in PS for the sky, added a bit more blue as hue, all the insignia was added as post work also. Using Domus & Posette as my main actors, dressed up in my period RAF uniforms, since this portrays a ground crew maintaining a Lancaster, it situates the period as post 1942. Lancs being introduced into combat in 1942, hence a mixed usage of RAF & WAAF(Womens Auxiliary Air Force) uniforms. Models Used: My Stuff... BattleDress blouse retextured as RAF. RAF Jacket for Domus RAF Service Cap & Officer Cap RAF Overalls Ammo Boots, Weillington boots with rolled socks, Gas Mask Bags, Mk II Helmets. For Posette, used the BD gear shoes converted, gas mask with modified strap, the RAF rankers Jacket converted in crossdresser to be used with posette. Ground support equipment used: DB tug, with towed bowser, scaffolding, small oil bowser, ACC trolley, assorted tools & toolboxes with oil cans & grease gun, with fire buckets & regular buckets and wheel chocks. Also used my fuel drums as an impromptu work bench. Besides the ground support stuff also created a frying pan style bomber pen & modular air strip. From Panko the ATA Cap from her majesty's service kit, retextured. From poserworld the RAF V3 skirt (converted to posette to keep the morph handles) From rendo freebies the bikes from papus 3d Last but not Least, my mate Neil's Lancaster Bomber, that comes with an engine that can be worked on. Thanks mate!
