here is the photo i took last year. i did check in my gallery as someone say I posted it. If it there i missed it. I did see some that is the same theme but it not this photo.

Your painting of this is you to a tee---which is a great compliment---so I had to see the photo. The photo is deep, moody, introspective and stunningly golden. Actually, it's a "peach" tone, a kind of peach-gold. It's just beautiful. I see that you used the D800 for this (and others of your photographs): I wonder how you like working with it. It's the behemoth of DSLR's, with 36 MP's; and I read that its RAW file sizes can reach 75 MB or more! In any case, the people I've read who've used this have gushed praise for its depth of detail and clarity. But to get back to the shot: I'd love to see it huge, as it has a huge feeling, a sweeping feeling, and the small jpg here suggests something quite grand. It's a beautiful moody shot, you got beautiful low-light intensity, and your composition has real poetry. Beautiful piece, Jocko. Now to the painting...
