Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

sorry to hear of your illness. outstanding capture. I would like to return to Wyoming as the only time I was there, I had no camera in the mid -sixties

My congratulations for the 200th image! You have chosen a voluminous and dramatic cloud . The clouds hang like a sword of Damocles over the beautiful landscape. I hope you feel better and I you press the thumbs for your crane license (wow. .. but you want high. to me is already dizzy when I read it). Super HDR pano.

Think I drove through one just like that on the way back from Vedauwoo last weekend! Great shot.

Wow great picture I have my license of the crane for more than 35 years. I work on tower cranes usually 60 to 80 meter high I wish you good luck with your test.

I was dreaming, literally, of taking a trip back to Wyoming last night. This does capture the rolling foothill nature of much of eastern Wyoming. Storms are really beautiful in that part of the world as you can see such a broad expanse and there is just enough topography to give some structural support to the cloud base.

Wow! Very dramatic! I hope you hightailed it outta there once you got this shot. And good luck on the crane ticket!

Cool capture Joe. It looks like an HDR. If it is one, than a bit noise is always there.
