Haven't posted here for a bit. I looked back over my gallery here with a more critical eye and see more misses than hits. Except for fantasy-style renders, I try to get as close to photorealistic as possible. I know my general workflow and it seems that I've been putting too much into the postwork and not enough into the render itself. Photoshop can destroy a render just as easily as it can save one and it sort of feels that that's what has happened with most of the renders in my gallery. With this one, the only postwork that was done was to remove some hot pixels that refused to render(still working on my lighting skills); and then overlayed a b&w layer at about 20% opacity to give a more realistic look to the skin. Other than those 2 little things, this is basically straight out of luxrender. Hope you enjoy the render as much as I enjoyed making it.
