Description

This village is just 5-10 minutes away by car. The village where my father grew up and where my grandparents lived all their married life together and got 7 kids. My grandfather was Harbour Master and Customs Officer and my grandmother was turning on the Lantern on the the end of the pier every evening and turning it off every morning. :) Have a beautiful day. We still have this wonderful summer weather. Tomorrow we will maybe have rain, but the warm will stay. I guess it will be very humid then..one of the days will be about 30C = 86F and rainy. That combination is rare here. Thank you for viewing and commenting. :-))

A lovely village panorama with just the right amount of boats around, to go sailing or fishing ;) I even noticed a few German flags amongst the others ... You certainly come from a big family and it sounds great to me, to hear about your ancestry. BB

So interesting to think about the generations, and the jobs. This looks like such a lovely town! I grew up in a beach town, and it's very comforting to see this.
