Your love for these beauties comes through loud and clear, Harry; another superb backlit capture, with those subtle pinstripes glowing in the sun. Amazing work, my friend!

Very nice details there. Great use of your environment. You tend to see that which most of us seldom notice in our daily lives, wonderful!

ditto the above, and with denise, amazing work---your love for these beauties comes through, as she says. Each shot in these series is fully unique, and this one is a kind of leaves-as-flame shot: It isn't red or 'hot', but your leaves are undulating upwards as if they were flame. And the backlighting is terrific: It lights up the leaves like it's coming from inside them. And you've composed the shot so we have two lit leaves with one in shadow beneath. That's why Andrea said brilliant compo. And a wonderful intrusion of red, esp on the left: I love it. A big in-your-face study of these beautiful bold leaves; filled with light; and solid and ephemeral all at once. Terrific. I have to stop for now, but I'll be back. I saw your new geese shots, loved them too, I'll get to them next time. Oh---and white-out was around as early as the 60s I believe. In my drawing, that was Korec-type! Cheap ol' Korec-type...Thanks for your wonderful comment: Drawings like that look old and hoary to me, and when first-rate artists like yourself like them, I feel better about those crazy years...
