There is an infinite stillness to this scene that is centered in the robot. A human in the same place would undoubtedly have some movement, even if it was just a shifting of weight from one foot to the other. There is a greater sense of movement in the human figures in the fence than in the robot. Yet there is a feeling of thought and contemplation as he gazes out over the water. Wonderful composition, light, and color. Great reflections in the globes. I love the stillness. Even in the movement of the water coming in, I can imagine an unchanging quality that is a kind of stillness too. Beautiful work!
