Chris, love the concept and the characters and the feel of the image. 2 suggestions. Put some reflection in the car. Cars love bright lights and reflections! Second, I think I would make the sun more intense and the shadows a bit sharper. After all, you are in the desert with a single, bright source of light. All in all, a really nice job!

I think you are right on both suggestions. The softness of the shadows bothered me, but when the lack of fill bothered me as well. I think I need to play with it some more, possibly lessening the softness while increasing the intensity. I only breifly worked on the car texture, and there's a lot of things that bother me there, the gloss being one of them. I'm doing a quicky in Lux to see how it looks before I continue with this scene. Thank you for your excellent suggestions!

Great reflections on the robot, and the desert road and sand textures are superb. Love the expressions too
