Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

Somehow I feel trapped in this landscape ... I will going and can not yet. So I go with the clouds and the water. Fantastic reflections ... like a newly forming level on all sides!

I love the reflections and composition! Beautiful shot! That water looks awful brown, but I bet there are lots of critters living in those woods.

Looks like a very lazy reach of the river. I like the touch of hdr in the trees to increase the rough texture of the composition. Did you mask these as they seem less intense than the cloud sructure?
