I conquered my fear of these ski lifts ;) The first ride was quite traumatic! By the end of the day I was an expert,
Taken at Northstar Resort in Truckee, California, where my nephew was in the Tough Mudder. He is pretty awesome and I am very proud of him.
This event was something to see for sure. I'd love to see another one! There were all sorts of people, some wearing costumes. I was intent on shooting my nephew, but i did sneak a few other shots. (I'll have to review my photos again, to see if there are some snapshots to share.) It was quite a day, we hiked all over that mountain, taking ski lifts up and down, and some of the hike we were on the actual trails with the athletes. I had a great day. It made me wish I were a little younger, had a little more upper body strength and I would jump right in! lol

Wow, tons of sharp detail and depth in this magnificent ski lift capture, amidst the pine trees, Melinda. I didn't realize I had acrophobia until my first ride on a ski lift, which left me a traumatized mess for the day.
