Description

just ahead is Alamosa , Colorado. I had been driving since Pikes Peak and no where to eat lunch that looked appealing. I wanted to stop at the dunes but hunger drove me on. finally near New Mexico I found a restaurant. full screen will allow one to barely see the dunes just at the foot of the mountain Texas has one advantage of many choices of places to eat

This really gives an idea of the 'bigness' of the sky out on the plains. Excellent capture. Hah, southern Colorado is fairly sparsely populated and no there aren't a lot of choices. You should have eaten in Colorado Springs or Manitou ;)
