Her Favorite Shade of Red. I'm so proud of this. I've spent all weekend (my work weekend) working on this. It is not perfect, but it's damn good I think! This was probably the most intensive Photoshop experience I've had since my Delphi render. And in looking back, that was a breeze compared to this. This is probably going to be one of a kind because well... It was a lot of painting, and smudging, and burning, and erasing... My hand cramped. I have never drawn blood in my life so let's just imagine it's thick like it is because she's a zombie who drools a lot. I'm rather proud of her sleeve, considering it started out as a not so pretty picture of a glaringly white chiffon sleeve used for the shape. And more than once I wanted to yell because her leathery skin details just did not want to behave. My family thinks I'm a crazy, and this is an awful picture. Old people just don't appreciate a good zombie portrait. At first I wanted to call this "Portrait of a Lady", but as I continued on, I thought, "Nah. That doesn't work. It looks like she's putting on bloody lipstick." And then it hit me: Red might just be her favorite color. At least to eat. So here she is.
