Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

people now does not realize what it takes to live in a primitive home like this, especially young people. my family did not have such a cabin when I was young but not far from it. we did have electricity and natural gas. by the time my mother had to go live in a care facility , the house was burnt to kill the termites. maybe the only thing holding it together was asbestos shingles on the outside outstanding capture

Maybe for a weekend, so I would appreciate my creature comforts more when I got back home. Great find & capture & that pastel sky & the billowing clouds make a nice backdrop...

Very nice capture. Maybe to relax after a long walk i would rest there shortly (half an hour ;) ). Is it open for everybody?

For a night or a weekend. For shelter during a wicked thunderstorm it would be an exciting place to be. Does it come with wifi? You did a great job of softening up what was surely mid to late afternoon light.

Maybe if I'm sought by "wanted" posters . Fine hideout! Place is in the smallest of places. I guess I must be cowgirl? Beautifully capture. Is it spring?

No ... I'm too practical. But it sure does make for a nice photograph!

A great shot of the rustic cabin. I think if I could take a guitar with me, I would be OK.

excellent capture of this scene! gives a 3d imression because of the clouds behind the trees and the fence in foreground. looks similar the holiday house we live in in norway ;o)
