Description
After walking through the dark swampy part of the trail & passing through a forested area, it opens up to the cove itself. The area along the shore in the foreground here is covered with oysters, mussels, kelp & the like & we spotted a crab or two, but they scuttled away into crevices before I could get a decent shot off. There were signs warning us not to eat anything we found here, though & the smell was pretty bad around this particular area, so we didn't linger & continued on our hike...

Just beautiful.

Bad smell plus shellfish equals chicken for dinner! This is a great shot, though. I love the colors and the low tide. Nice!

Vibrant color and lighting with abundant life. Why or what was the warning trying to avoid?

Very pretty scene, I like the postwork – too bad the area has a bad smell.

Great contrast of the cold blue water and the warm tans and oranges of the shoreline. I look at this and I think these areas are on their long journey to being rocks.
romangirl
It's sad that it smelled badly, but a great shot!

A lovely photo! It looks like a beautiful place but tough to walk along the waters edge!
