To take pics of these little cygnets now as one of the parents died & the other keeps them hidden or in the middle of the lake.

This is a fantastic pic of the little family, but oh so sorry one of their parents died it must be so hard for the remaining parent to take charge of these 3 wonderful babies. hugs and love xxxxxxxxxx

A charming capture, I find swans to be majestic birds, European immigrants need to learn to respect UK laws and not catch them to eat as I know does happen from time to time, they are protected by the crown. Sometimes you see the black one's with the red beaks too, makes for quite a contrast. They also pair up for life and they are very loyal birds and good parents too, very protective of their cygnets, have to be careful not to get to close to them when very young, they can get very nasty, their wings have the power in them to break a persons bones.
