Gillian was a Cyberoid, and like most high-end Mannequins was built only for the leisure of her owner. Sometimes, through over-work and over-use, or due to programming glitches, Cyberoids would go rogue, but not in Gillian's case. Her owner Braeden, CEO of Brae-Tech Industries had omitted certain obedience blocks in his high tech toy... mainly those that prevented self-awareness... After-all, what fun is a toy if it doesn't know that it is one! In 2029 the compound at Brae-Tech Industries, in which Gillian lived, was raided by Anti-Cyberoid Protesters and she managed to flee during the confusion (taking with her a stolen Security Response Suit as a guise in which to escape). During the Rogue Boomer hunt that followed, Gillian (aided by a group of Armoured Vigilantes) secured a safe haven in which to hide... Now, with the help of her new-found friends, Gillian patrols the dark heart of Mega-Tokyo, another Dark-Knight in the crusade to keep the citizens safe from the Boomer menace and the monsters that release them in their midst...
