Thank you all for you kind words of sypathy about my Dad. I am holding up well, but have my moments. This one I shot with my favorite lens, what people often call "The Nifty Fifty"

Ahh!! the old nifty fifty or plastic fantastic as we have come to know them. The glass in these little primes is right up there with expensive lenses. I love my little f/1.8 II too. Nice selective focus used here to illustrate the power of these remarkable little lenses Fred.

Nice depth-of-field in this one too. One of my favorite lenses is my 55MM combined with an X2 converter. It give excellent depth-of-field and is great for portraits.
