Protected by her dog, but also by the lush greenery, and (ala tara) by her own self immersion. She seems raised up, as if that carpet of grasses held her aloft. And great capture of her dog half-buried in all that growth. And her with her foot on a tire---and on a bench surrounded by nothing but growth! The vision is wonderful, with your usual intuitive juxtapositions that defy explanation but feel wholly at home inside your images; and your hues are subdued and quiet, as in a dream. Also, you let a little light shine on her hair, which is one of the highlights of the piece. More beautiful work from you, always looking to inner worlds inside the outer ones. And I don't know if I've said this before, but you remind me in several instances of the images in the films of Andrei Tarkovsky, esp the way he juxtaposes natural scenes with people, sometimes quite fancifully; and with his tones and feelings of high reality inside the patina of deep dreaming...your next image (connection) could be from "Stalker," as this could be, in its muted tones and overgrown field...Or Nostalgia, etc...
