Tragic Modern Day - Who's There?
Narcissus (with mirror)
longed for a
Saw-weet Tattoo
Echo (she - craving an embrace), suggests
"Burn one across your chest, bay-bee."
(with future plans of garnering all of his love)
"Yea...??? A Tattoo of What?",
wondered Pretty Boy[out loud],
as a head-tilt followed.
Echo swoons as she coyly responds,
"It should ask - "Who's There?" - but applied-on
bass-ack-ards." (wisely considering - only of herself).
Pretty Boy liked that idea very much, cause
he usually spent his days grooming and pruning
and always with mirror, in-hand.
~
From then on, Narcissus (with mirror)
would look at himself, all day long and sing,
"Who's There?" with outward, bubba-ly joy.
And
Echo (after all of PB's countless snubs), would repeat,
"Who's There?" (echoing in sorrow), as she
wandered through all those lonely glens - alone
foreverandever
