Description

Hi Everyone again! I have had the pleasure of meeting some really wonderful artists and designers here and back when i used to post at 3dcommune. I began in 1999 swearing with the early version of Bryce, and due to inspiration from my good friend Rochr (one of the greatest artists out there) along with my Brother David Robinson aka Bambam131 the master of boleans, i pushed myself further and further. It got to the point when i made a model, set it up, and when i clicked render......nothing happened. I admit my pc was not up to much, but i saved the file hoping that one day i could render it. This was such a file i recently found. The *Zentipede* concept was when i tried to see how much i could place within in a bryce scene, multi reps soon followed, then the biggest model i could make....I wanted to say a BIG thank you to my good friend karl.garnham1 who reminds me so much of myself when i was making, experimenting and amazed what Bryce could do. So, remember, everyone needs encouragement, without it we would never learn. This little scene was rendered in 30 minutes, the only post was the signature. Modelled entirely in Bryce 4, 11+ years ago. Hope you all have a great weekend, Thanks as always for your kind comments and messages. All the very best to you all Steve and the Crew *Keep on Bryc'ing!*

Wow. Impressive beast! I can totally relate to your early frustration. It seems like it took some time for hardware to catch up to what Bryce could really do. For quite some time, I used Bryce Lightning to turn every humble computer in the house into a render farm. But now, with modern multi-core processors, I can actually finish a render before falling asleep, or as was more common, crashing a system. Best Wishes.

That is truly awesome. I find myself once again completely at a loss for the words to express how incredible this is. Your work stands out so for its creativity, originality, and pure inspiration that I doubt there's any way to adequately express it.

I remember your seri of mechanical insects, from 2002 and 2003, at the time you signed it as Steve Winter. I was a big fan of these insects and it's cool to see a new one from that seri.
