Description

Bryce landscape. Started as an attempt to make a nice tree. But a tree needs a place to stand! Almost everything made with things included in my Bryce versions. Lots of Bryce trees in this one. The grass, for example, is actually the top of a set of trees. I added something to make the trunk of the tree(s) more interesting. Used a default Bryce sky as HDRI-IBL. Herdbeasts from DAZ3D. Bird made by me in Blender. Texturing and rendering in Bryce (premium settings, true ambience). Hope you like it! Additional info: the idea for the grass was not mine. It was one of David Brinnen's experiments that worked fine. Anybody that wants to learn anything in Bryce should look at his tutorials!

Very well done. Is this the Jurassic period? The grass looks great.Looks like it is being blown by wind.

Hi Miwi, Thanks very much! I'm presently working on other ways to create grass, with more variation in the grass leaves. The challenge with variable grass is that it easily takes too much working memory for Bryce to cope with. Hope to show some results soon. Kind regards, Hans
