Description

The camp is taking form. The droids are not the most advanced, so they need some extra programming "on location". Also they will first gain full functionality after a few days of learning "hands on", after that they can work more or less on their own. Science officer Yanne is taking care of the programming. Engineer Boccs - an exo - is finshing raising the tent. Assistant girl Seirtes, a newcomer to the Nerbja base, does her work as best she can... Third scene from a planned mini-series:) Toolbox: Vue render, DAZ Studio, Onyxtree & Photoshop. Items from DAZ, Cornucopia 3D; Content Paradise and myself. The vegetation is a mix of customized Vue SG and static models. Thanks for viewing, comments etc. welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day, Lars Previously: thumb_2460953.jpg

Hey Lars...another in a great series....I have to admit that as one who usually moves toward bad weather scenes..I really like the bright sunshine here and how it pops the colors yet remains very realistic. My only suggestion though is the shadows cast by figures are too dark...with the sun angle yet still bright daylight..I think you could get away with giving the sun say an 18% softness setting. Just a thought my friend...you still get a 5 for a great creative series.

Great realism. Agree the shadows could be a little less dense. What's your gain set at? It seems like there could also be just a hair or light to see the interior shape of the central object - but those are really minor points. Additional note: your figure posing is outstanding. Really natural and lifelike.

Fantastic work. Your humans are very naturally posed, and the androids look, well, a bit limited... :o) Great landscape and vegetation, as always.

The shadows may be a little dark...for our world, but who's to say how strong they would be on another planet...really enjoying this series Lars!

Great series! The most curious technically in setup IMO is the tent. In this and the last render, it is very believable. Nice work on all the details.

Awesome work. Excellent realism. I'm not so concerned with the shadows. Especially in an alien environment. I can see some detail in them and full high sun can produce some sharp shadows. I noticed that today, while mowing the lawn.
