I love images that tell stories, express feelings, understanding, and not only passion but compassion. Your art as with this image tells multiple stories. I find the one most endearing is the blanket, the small suit case and the skates. There are others, who or what is the girl in the background seeking. Why is the man sad but resolved, what life secret has made him so resolute? Poetically beautiful.

Above all else I love gritty street photography the most and this totally captures it. I respect the courage it takes to go into these places and make the shots. It is not easy. Here you totally capture the brutality of daily life on the hard streets. And not only did you capture one story but you got at least two and both are screaming for recognition. Beautiful in a very hard way.

Although there are not many such images here, it does not mean that there is not this life on the road. In Berlin there are also many homeless. But what I've seen in LA Skid Row, has driven me to tears in the eyes. Wonderful capture ..... RESPECT!
