The world’s mythologies are a treasure trove of secrets woven out of the events of the past, passed down and altered over time. Names change. Genders change. Their stories are quite human. The things that happen to them are human-like…they simply take place in different realms. They are the tales that were told around campfires, on holy-days and in ancient texts. I like to capture some of their spirit in my art, if I can.
SRG or Sidhe Rose Graphics brings you beings from the realm of fantasy: faerie-folk, warriors of old, vampires, werewolves and other shape-shifters, angels, demons, witches, and mages both dark and light. We specialize in them! Of course, they can appear as perfectly normal everyday people, if you like. It's up to you. They will be coming soon to the Renderosity Market Place, so stay tuned!

Enjoy! And thank you for taking the time to look.

Basically all the great teachings of the goddess bundled into one succinct place. Well where else could it have been? I am glad I was there, once, to recogize the place and get some memorable shots, but now to know I have little desire to return to a vastly over-rated city.

Interesting caption. But teaching doesn't look like that, as far as I can remember :-) Very nicely done.

A great narrative and a super fractal background.

yep the ultimate credo. frogs dont drink up the pond but humans crap in the nest they live and at the same time in the neighbours because its fun to have company in the dirt. a well done "text of the elders" i would call it.

And then came... Monsanto! And they all bowed to the mighty & powerful god. Giving their minds & souls over to his greatness as he invaded their senses & poisoned them all as one... Sorry. I got caught up in the glory of it all. O.o Lol. Its so contagious. ;) Super work. You know its good when it elicits such a response. ")

I like how you integrated the fractal into your image. It looks fascinating and impressive. I also like the words of the teacher. We all can learn from him to treat our earth carefully and with respect. Have a great Tuesday too, Ray!

Interesting...at first, it looks as if he is staring into chaos, but in closeup, there are definite patterns and a certain symmetry. In the "Elric Saga" by Michael Moorcock, there is no "good" and "evil" - rather, there is "law" (order) and "chaos." That always gave me food for thought.

If this has not impact, than I don't know it anymore! What a lesson and what a picture to support it, great hon! Gr.Rudy.

A fantastic image. Very mystical ... When I read these words, then I remember a passage from a Christopher Moore: ... And the coyote put again poured water on the hot stones. And put some herbs on it ... He wished the duck fun and left the tent ... He lit a cigarette and smoked. Then he smoked another. Then he entered the tent again and was looking forward to the roast duck ... Wahaha ... The wisdom of an Indian ...

So many times in my life have I listened to my mind and not my heart.... It's still costing me dearly... This is outstanding in every way, Ray! Both the artwork and words are masterful and wise! Brilliant!

Beautiful image and I love the fractal. Perfect words and a perfect truth. I have to admit I deny this truth from time to time, but I keep trying. It seems a simple truth, but I guess some of us make it harder than it needs to be. Great food for thought.
