When i go over to feed the fish at my pond this turtle is the first one up he eats the fish food as much as the rest of them and when we all were fishing he got on the hook a couple of times but try to get the hook out of him is nearly impossible u just got to cut them lose and hope he gets it out his self lol yes this is a snapper.

A nice capture, snapping turtles can be a handful, they can grow to such sizes and the biggest ones can crush a broom-handle with it's jaws, I think they have a pretend worm they move about to attract fish and other prey in their mouth, they can be quite fearsome looking things. This one looks as if it's merely grown to the size of the pond it lives in, how are the fish stocks?.
