Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

There are times when I'm dismayed but the sub-human nature of some teenagers who have nothing better to do. I know what I would do if I were their father, reality is if I was they would not be doing such things in the first place, I would take a rough guess in thinking the parents are most likely to be no better, probably living their entire lazy lives for nothing and producing nothing but problems. When the government talk of such people they need to be careful they don't lump everyone in the same boat as those from where these yobs undoubtedly spawn from. Bring back national service that is what I say, they would have little time then to hang around street corners gulping down cheap cider and doing such things to innocent and trusting animals. Makes my blood boil. Lovely capture there, I love donkey's they have a rough time of it, especially abroad where the amount they are forced to carry is obscene, fortunately there are organisations overseeing this does not happen so much.

I can only echo what Mark said. Sadly children like that will most probably grow up to be rapists and murderers. May God grant them grace and a way out. I would love to wring their necks for abusing these gorgeous animals.

I'd be in jail too ! Makes my heart sink to read this Barbara - those poor donkeys. In need of some vigilantes methinks

I saw the photo before reading your comments, and saw one quiet calm and smiley donkey looking back at you, then OMG! I am appalled at what those teenagers have been up to, OMG my heart breaks. My grandchildren are around that age and all of them show nothing but love toward animals, and I know that my youngest grandson (aged 14 yrs) Cameron would cry if he knew what had been happening to those poor dear donkeys. This all makes me very sad. hugs and love xxxxxxxx

Teenagers, the dangerously immature minds of children in the strong bodies of adults. I wish I knew what the answer was, but this problem has plagued the human race since the beginning. And the cycle is likely to continue. Those teens morality is already formed and in time they will have children who will be just as likely to repeat the behavior.

you don't even want to know what I would do to those sub-human beings - you might go to jail; I'd go to hell! Great capture of this beautiful creature

I hate to hear these adorable donkies are being treated so cruely! I can not understand how people can do things like that!

Beautiful donkey, it is a shame what they are doing, outstanding capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a beautiful face! They are lovely donkeys with very pretty markings. Cruelty to animals is always so distressing. Finding joy in inflicting pain is a sickness. I don't know the best punishment for the perpetrators, but at the very least they should have to pay reparation for the damage, and receive counseling. Such behavior should not be ignored. I hope the donkeys are now safe and recovered from their trauma. Beautiful image.

This is not unique to your area Barbara. I call today's teenagers, here in the US, as the "Me Myself and I" society. They have no clue and their parents don't care either. Oh, wonderful photo of the donkeys.

I can't tolerate abuse of any animal - just makes me insane. What a darling donkey and shot.
