Description

While I'm still working on my new studio to fix al the details and installations, Maya came complaining about her Crazy-Nights trousers. So I gave her the studio dummy, she changed her clothes and she tried to find out what was wrong with her pants in an already done corner of the new photostudio. I hope she find it soon, because it is absolutely no fun at all if something is pricking you all the time in your skin especialy in your stomach.

I am enjoying your Maya series. And there is a lot I like about this image. However, I found the shadows of Maya and the mannequin distracting. They look too big to my eye for shadows cast by normal room lighting. And it seems to me that the light that cast the shadow of the mannequin could not have cast the shadow for Maya. I hope these comments are ok; since the genre is Realism, I thought you might hope for comments about where it the image looks less than 100% real.

Your perfectly correct Fitz. I used here two spotlights hanging from the ceiling at breastheight. One is right of the camera the other one is left of the camera. This spot makes the shadows to the right wall. I agree that the big shadow on the wall is distracting. Maybe I better had token distance lights. I see now that the invisible lights are to close to the models and therefore give such a wide spread shadow. Ha Ha. I better make my lights visible.
