Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Interesting how they are formed. Nice find. Aloha

Something was swimming around in circles when the tide was high, looking for its lair. Then it burrowed into the sand waiting for the next high tide...or for someone to walk too near...!

The low lighting source turned this crop circle into a stunning image, Maz. Super stellar shot.

Wow, it really makes me wonder how that happened; could it have been someone's sand castle washed away in the tidal race, leaving only the foundations? Wonderful capture!!

I like the central pattern smooth from the water and also the textures of the surrounding sand! An excellent capture!
