Description

Went ahead and turned on intervalmeter and let her go last nite for the shower. Clouds and rain tonite so i photoed a night earlier. Ran it up to about 400 shots until a fog bank formed in a nearby creek and took over the sky. In this shot we see a Perseids meteor, Milkyway dust lane, and the Andromeda galaxy. Thanks for looking:)

Nice. It was overcast here last night (SD) like it is almost everynight. So no meteor shower for us.

Despite much neck ache, I didnt manage to see a single perseid. Left the camera out all night on 3 separate nights, but dew spoiled all the shots. I guess it wasnt meant to be. This is lovely, very jealous!!

Thanks.....glad you like it! Dew was also a factor working against me. had to wipedown lenses every ten minutes or so...employed various heating techniques, one of which involves a BIC lighter. ;)
