Description

I loved the look and smell of this place, even though I didn't know what half of it did! Please zoom if you would like a better look. My late dad was a master builder who was equally as skilled at woodwork as he was metalwork. He would have known what this stuff was! I love visiting places like this. They make me remember my dad who was also my best mate. I sadly didn't inherit his clever hands!

This kind of looks like my garage Andrew. What I'm trying to say here is that I will have to clean it one of these days and it will probably take me two summers to do it but it's been messed up for a couple of years. But at any rate this photo you put up reminds me of that and so it's just another project I have to take care of later on in life. At any rate this is a great photo thanks for posting it and I enjoyed it a lot and sounds like you and your dad had some great times together and I'm happy for you on that, other people of course don't have that great a time with their father's so anyway have a great day Andrew and I'll get back at you later. Stan

Wonderfully exciting! My mother was my best friend and she was very skilled with her hands too.

This is wonderful Andrew. It's the kinda place where only the owner knows what everything does and exactly where it is.

Looks like a master forger's coining press .... and parts of many garages! Nice shot. It's the wood that makes them smell so good.

Oh, that's my kind of place! I think I could figure out most of the stuff in there. It seems centered on a major press I think for forming sheet metals and such. Nice shot!

Great capture. This reminds me of shops I have seen as a kid, they looked similar and I always found it fascinating roaming around in them!
