Here sits the Dummy in his ivory throne,
never knowing his thoughts aren't his own.
And here is the Ventriloquist, partially shown.
The power behind the Dummy's dome.
But what of our dummy's benefactor?
Is he too just another pawn?
This powerful, behind the scenes actor.
Is his voice also on loan?
And here's a thought just as obnoxious:
Keep it in mind as you roam.
Perhaps the Ventriloquist is just our subconcious.
We all have lights on, but nobody's home.Â

Without reading the tekst Fitz, is my first impression: an ordinairy photo. After reading your tekst and a very closer look: It lookes still allright. But after switching to full size and a very long and critical look I must say that the light on the hands and tighs of Lindsay is a bit too much according to your hands. The shadow line from her chin to her bra is also not correct (light is too bright). And last point, but all is possible, I think her shouders are too wide regarding the people beside her. Again first impression all is very realistic.

Thanks. All good comments. I should say tho that it is possible that my hands are incorrectly lit, since I added my image to the photo at the very end after taking a picture of myself sitting on our couch at home. But all in all I think she may be too brightly lit.

At first glance, I thought it was a very careful, well constructed, render. Well done, sir. Raages comments are fair also, and helpful. However at first glance again, I can notice nothing about shoulder width that does not jive with the full image. Thanks to both of you for teaching me.

I'm impressed and I have had to look twice to be sure that it wasn't a photo!

Wow, Nicly done ! You had me confused at first on both sides. My first thought was ... "Interesting, I haven't seen too any multiple person renders from you, then my thoughts switched and said, Oh, he's posting a real photo" Then I started reading.... ;-) Very well blended. I havent had any where near that good of a result mixing my Victoria in with reality. Mostly 2d Backdrop stuff. After realizing what was going on my first thinking was maybe the light on Her left shoulder is a little bright. But then I saw that the light on the bench does match, so hard to say. But I do think if the amount of light was reduced It might blend a little better. One other thing is, she seems very vivid in her color, more so than you two. that was the only thing I could see after a closer inspection. All in all...Very impressive ! My attempts have just looked quite silly. This took a Double or even Triple take. ;-)

It's really fantastic of realism, excellent blending of reality and virtual world! Amazing work!

You made a fantastic work in blending the virtual lady....may I say that the light on her is slightly different, and her clothes have no tissue folds (as often on the virtual clothes!) but many congrats for your interesting work !

Great job! I used to love doing photo manips, but never used a Poser model with real figures. I'll have to try it some time.

well, I was wondering about the man figure on the right! kidding aside the 3d lady is very realistic but she can still be seen as 3d. I think your newer posts offer more realism. I have not tried what you have done. I have put 3d characters into photos but accurately posing them to appear to be actually sitting is something I have not tried

You did really great work on this!
