Description


You rarely see these in my area so I was pleased when a friend called me to take a look. This butterfly is a master at hiding and was still in the same position 24 hours later. The shrub is a Choisya. Zoom is huge!!

Now that's a very clever butterfly, well done for getting this fine shot. I bet they don't get eaten too often except maybe when in flight. Nature is so precise in it's design, one cannot compete creatively.
