Hello All!
Well, I've been away for a while due to an eye injury and have been under strict orders not to use computer screens due to light sensitivity, however, things are getting back to normal now and I can start working again.
This image continues on a small series from a shoot in May at Malham Cove in North Yorkshire.
The dazzling amphitheatre of Malham Cove is one of the most stunning natural features in Britain and it attracts people from far and wide to stare in wonderment at the magnificent sweep of rock that was once an amazing waterfall. The attraction to rock climbers is obvious with many superb routes to be found on the steep walls ranking with the best to be found anywhere in Britain - I have climbed a few of the routes here myself.
I have used four differently exposed images from the same RAW file and blended them together to show how the scene would look to the eye as if you were there in person to see it. A slight alteration of levels, saturation boost, as well as a touch of dodge and burn was also used.
There will be one more pic to follow from this shoot before moving on to a different area.
