Description

After a second attempt of trying to gain access atop the amphitheater I was getting low on water. It was time to head back towards the wilderness boundary, where I had parked the truck. Being on the edge of the foothills and the plateau's drainage, back tracking through where I'd been was the best course to return. Passing back by this formation I could not help but think of the chorus from a Dionne Warwick song, "Walk on by". Dad's birthday is tomorrow. I know he would rather a card over a gift. Beyond that he would rather see me or at least hear my voice. Having so little time this year to post here in the gallery. Thought I would make several Birthday posts in place of the card.
