Description

I have been absent for almost a year - a long time, and a long story. A lot of stuff happens in a year - reconnecting with a family after a twenty-odd years long radio-silence,getting a job, losing it, bad health, almost moving away then moving back in, more bad health, couple of new arrivals in the family (nope - not mine, but close enough to warrant a celebration), my partner's two heart attacks and two surgeries and a painfully stop-start rehab that followed. The worst of the lot hopefully out of the way now, I could finally limp back in to some sort of creative tinkering with that aging- ungraciously prehistoric menace of my PC . There's a story behind the picture, but it is way too long to bother everyone else with it, so I'll mercifully shut up now. Botched and coaxed out of the old, bare-bones-stripped-down-to-its-boxer-shorts D/S 3A and Photoshop CS3, on an old XP-brained desktop. Base render w/lighting in D/S, hair, bubbles, water debris, sand plume and touch-ups in PS. The mermaid wears Lost Realms, an old outfit from daz3d ( I got it years ago during that infamous shopping spree every newbie seems to go through as the rite of passage :)) Thanks for looking.

This is absolutely beautiful! It's just like you're underwater with her. A very fine example of good light control.
