Description

Sorry, I haven't posted for quite a while. My main focus lately has been on helping my family take care of my father. After suffering with several health problems, my beloved Dad passed away last Monday (August 12, 2013). He was the most wonderful, gentle, caring, dedicated father a person could ever have, and my heart is breaking now that he's gone. Dad, I know you are in a better place now, and are no longer suffering. Saddle a horse for when the day arrives that we'll meet again. When we do, I'm looking forward to riding those trails and being with you once again forever. I love and miss you so much! This image was generated using a mix of Vue 11 Complete for the background and the rest with Photoshop Elements 10.

Your Dad looks like a Happy well taken care of man. I'm sorry you're going through this time period.... I lost my Mom in Feb of 2001. I caught myself calling her complete phone number right before thanksgiving to let her know turkeys were on sale - almost a year later - it takes time. It's now been 12 years since she's been gone and I still have that empty feeling - but.... I feel her presence and guidance quite a bit.... advice? Remember the laughter, think of it from time to time and you'll be laughing too.

I went through this pain 4 years ago, and it gets easier I guess but it never quite goes away, best thing to do is to find a reason through him rather from a photo or a memory to smile every day!! nice tribute sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss... my heart goes out to you and your family... pls notice that your pain originates in love and that love is a beautiful 'thing'? love IS stronger than death, sincerely hope you will experience that too!! (after my father passed away, went to his grave for 3 years in a row, devastated, looked for him 'everywhere'... no 'success', but when my husband passed, I could often feel his presence and although 'annoying' (he might as well have stayed, doh), it did make me 'happy'... I'm 'alone in the world' now, since my mother died a year ago. yet, altho they do have to move on, the dead are part of my life. I find them in my heart!!! and in all... ) wishing you all the strength you need!!!!!

Let me just say that this is such a beautiful tribute Kathy. What wonderful, heartfelt words you used to describe your father and your feelings for him and what you are feeling now.
