http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=290wpaLtcms a year has passed since my mother passed away on August 14th... how time ....? (!!!) a very busy year, when 'life stood still', while clearing out a house and garage took like forever, but also very educational... learned a LOT about human nature... it seems to be a classic?, that (the majority of) people seem to go into 'corps picker'-mode (literally translated from dutch, get what I mean?? ;-)) when someone passes away?? meanwhile, missed you all a lot!! my mother loved (drinking coffee and) browsing the RR galleries on my computer. 1 of her fav pics was 'romantic encounters'. because she thought the storks were sooo sweet..... about the pic? may 26th 2012, a newly hatched baby love the expression on ma stork's face -in zoom-, marvelled? based on the info on her ring, she's just 2 years old. a teen mom & her 1st? so the wild storks built a nest on the terrain of the bird shelter. discovered 2 babies on may 24th. was invited to climb a ladder, that was up against the fence on may 25th. at noon!! hence the horrific pics, despite underexposure. topsports to capture pics of the babies!! they surfaced only occasionally, nest was very deep with them popping up for secs at the time mostly. they were sooo small (macro lenses, tele-converters?? ;-D -pics shot with 600 mm- some + converter) (more newborn baby pics at: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=CFXUI66X may 24th http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=Y8NIXJR4 may 25th @ NOON (!), gruwesome & http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=SW3V4LPN may 26th ) I want to THANK YOU all for welcoming me back again and for your wonderful comments (& fav.s!) on previous pic, but somehow doesn't feel right, since that was about Susan, not me, nor pic previous pic? very BLACK storks (LOL) 2 -out of 3- babies practicing their flight-gymnastics
