No raindrops on roses, but definitely a couple of my favourite things :o)
In the showroom tonight we have favourite #1, the fabulous Porsche 917K.. in the classic colours of John Wyer's Gulf-Porsche team as raced in the 1970 Le Mans 24hrs by Jo Siffert and Brian Redman, and also seen in the classic film Le Mans 'driven' by Steve McQueen and which used a lot of real footage from the same race.
Favourite thing #2.. Trixie of course .. my versatile gal.. only too happy to model with the Porsche!!
Trixie is wearing Kook'n'fats J-suit (DAZ) retextured in Gulf team colours....
Model is by Sauber, over at 3D Warehouse. It is a sketchup model which generally render like crap in poser as it doesn't smooth, instead picks up almost every facet of the mesh. Sauber's model is truely superb, so look forward to seeing some other renders with better suited render engines... (Mike that's you....!!!.). Please excuse the high key lighting, it is one tricks I've learn't to blow out some of the facetting of sketchup files converted to .obj's, when rendered in poser.

Great post Tim. Nothing against the lady, but that Porsche was my all-time favorite. Yes, the movie with Steve McQueen has scenes in it that feature that car. Sorry about the weather, give it a couple, three more months and you be checking out the action on the local beaches! Oh by the way, I had a 1972 VW Super Beetle and in '74 I put a couple of big tail pipes on to replace the originals, and when I started it up it almost sounded like a 917. I thought the neighbors were going to complain, but they didn't.
