“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.†- Steve Jobs, Apple Inc. RIP

I haven't had a cell phone for 6 years.... I had one for 7 years - don't miss it.... I miss not having my phone/camera though. I haven't been around this past year, so it's great to see you're here, you had been gone for a long time before this year. I've always loved your posts, there is always a scene that tells a story without words.

strange that people thought you were gone.. grin there are several images of you in august and July seems people were txting too much elsewere

Your work is so good and what I like is that almost all of them are like scenes from imaginary movies.I try to be the same - if there isn't a story there somewhere what's the point?

You totally got it. I was in an upscale burger bar in London last summer and these two ravishing looking China dolls came in within 5 minutes of each other, sat down together, had a little cheek kiss, chatted briefly and then ate their burger and beer and never once talked to each other again but constantly texted until they hugged and left. It was amazing as it was clearly a date and yet people who were not there were more important. they should have each gone to a separate restaurant and just phoned each other. They would have had more interaction.

Thank you for this one...it's among my pet peeves. I wonder if Victorians had those newfangled telephone earpieces glued to their ears when they were at home when those came out in the late 19th Century, or if they spent all their time at the telegraph office (check out an episode of Murdoch Mysteries entitled "Murdoch.com" - I'm not kidding!) I myself refuse to carry one of these on my person - just in my automobile for emergencies.

Glad I don't need one

I know that feeling. I hate talking to someone and they spend half the time (if I'm lucky) talking or texting someone else. Excellent render and message!

Fantastic scene... wonderfully done !

I call them, "conversation killers"...'Cause that's what they're used for...If my cellphone rings while I'm talking with someone, I usually just let it ring, if it's an important call, they'll simply leave a message...But yeah, the only good thing about it, would be that it's an excellent judge of character, especially when you're on a date...
