Description
i'm doing insect studies. these where all over my sundflowers mating...I kinda freaked cause they where eating them so I didn't get a photo of them mating, which I know you all would have liked to seen...but I did get this mean looking guy. as you can tell by the photo they where not afraid at all...quite large and very armoured looking. what really stands out to me are those crab like rear legs with spikes on them. he was just looking at me as I snapped the photo like he wanted to jump on me...I've seen some very unusual insects this year but did not have my camera. hopefully i'll see them again when I have the camera...
