Description

"New Ripe Tomatoes" New ripe tomatoes that are ready to eat. This year I was able to plant two types of tomatoes in my wife's flower gardens. These palm sized ones and some Cherry vine tomatoes. They are ripening and absolutely delicious. The flavor of vine ripened tomatoes is so much better than store bought. They say that ripe tomatoes are a deterrent to prostate cancer in men and other diseases for men and women. . Thanks for viewing my gallery and your comments. Side Note: I ate one of these two tomatoes for lunch today. I sliced it in just under 1/4 in. slices and lightly peppered it. It was red to the center and was delicious.

There is not a more beautiful site in the world than a ripe tomato on the vine. Well, maybe one or two more beautiful, but this ranks right up there. Excellent work!

My sister's aren't even starting to ripen yet up here in NY. Besides that, vermin are getting in and eating many of them despite additional fencing to attempt repelling them. I had a dog who used to pull them off the vine, take a bite and decide it wasn't good, then go back for another later and do the same. I was quite surprised when I actually saw her do it, thought it might have been rabbits.

Oh now I feel a TINY bit better... for some reason, this one is a tiny bit blurry? (I had commented your Blue Jay photo was so perfect and how I can't take photos that are not shaky-blurry nowadays)... and I hope you smile when you read this...NOT meant with any criticism at all.... Years, I mean YEARS ago, I lived in a home with a huge back yard and planted tomatoes... I will never forget the difference in a home grown fresh vine ripened tomato...cherry or large... so SWEET and full of flavor...over the awful store bought flavor-less ones! and by the way, I also planted carrots- which our DOG dug up and ate! I mean...carrots?? sheesh! LOL!
