Description

The more I looked at this shot the more I liked it. Hope you do too! Christian asked yesterday if I used a UV Filter. I do not on this L series lens. I don't want to compromise the optics or f-stop in any way. I got a 2.8 lens to capture low light. It seems to do incredibly well pointed directly in the sun. There is no post work on the sun. To bring out all the color and light information I shoot 3 shots of different exposure and run it through tone mapping to see if there is a sample that fits what I am looking for. The rest is a matter of taste... Still having a hard time with Internet connection. Painfully slow when working so if I seem to have forgotten you...just message me with hey Joe!

I love this Joe. Very nice capture. I've always been a little scared to hold the camera directly at the sun. That's why i've ask about the filter.
