Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

Great POV & color - I like the sharpened look here. Know what you mean about the weeds - I went on a hike a couple of days ago in shorts & socks & came back with probably over a hundred little burrs on my socks. Started to pick them off, but ended up just throwing out the socks...

LOL, thought you were gonna say big mistake because you got chewed alive by bugs! I like the great color contrasts between the yellow, the green and the blue grey sky. Personally I think this image is better shot with a bigger aperature because I think it makes the front sunflower really pop out and I like the way it is looking right at the viewer. Great focusing. There is just enough focus that the four front flowers form a distinct group, then the background flowers then the distance - so you got a great layering going on that would be absent if you shot this at f11 or f 16. I like the way you got away with shooting with a bright sun by making use of the cloudy day to soften up the backlight. There is some great shooting going on here but I would not expect anything less from you.
