I have been into photography for over 40 years, and the pull doesnt lessen. As a family we have always been keen walkers, and that gets you to some interesting places.Ive recently been to Southern India as a member of an adult support team with our local community school to Chennai so the camera never cooled down i can tell you, (watch this space). I live in Chard South Somerset, and have fairly recently converted to digital, at first reluctantly, but now enthusiastically. Its great to hear others comments on your pictures and i am looking forward to loading up my space. Alan. Almost through my first week and inspiration levels have rocketed, thanks for all those comments they drive me on.

Wonderful harvest, reminds me of that good life episode, when Tom announces "I declare this harvest well and truly in" One of the funniest episodes in the whole series. Super stuff Alan.

Oh, just drop that basket here on the deck, if you don't mind. Everything that's in it will be put to good use, I assure you! It will keep me busy in the kitchen for a little while, but it will be totally worth the trouble. SO beautiful!!

Well grown, and well photographed!

These look great! You should get one of those cornucopia horns to properly display them. And you can give me Andrea's garlic. I love the stuff. Keeps the vampires away.

This is an inspiration! An excellent collection of produce and a cracking shot! I have a polytunnel that I grow a few varieties of toms in, mainly for flavour. Your collection has to be about flavour too. You have tried some sumptuous beefy ones and blacks too! Any varieties you would recommend for the british grower?
