Description
This family were motoring upstream at a fair lick, and the pics I got of the eight of them in one frame were less than OK.
I have to catch them in gaps between the vegetation, while not losing sight of the three dogs that are off the lead.
So here are the two best shots, the cob and the leading group and the pen following with the rest.
The River Stour, Northbourne, Bournemouth.

Wow, I like the change of layout that Renderosity has provided us with, but in doing so, has reduced the commentor's avatars to the size of miniscule rectangles. Otherwise, nice montage of the lovely swans, out for a morning constitutional.

Many shots are not easy and through all the success can be that missed chance but ultimately that is what makes photography fun and creative, you never know what may appear or event that can take place, a compact makes that spontaneous moment easier to capture than with an slr which tends to be more for organized projects. Without compacts so many images would never have been seen and captured... hail the compact!. Well done Andrea
