I love hummingbirds also. They are amazing little creatures because they have to consume such huge amounts of nectar and because their wings beat so incredibly fast. Well, also because they are so small and lovely too, of course! Sometimes we lose track of things and may feel that the world is out of control when we focus on all the terrible things that people do to each other, but when we take a moment to be still and see a creature such as this, we are reminded that our Creator is indeed very powerful and very good, to make such beauty and sweetness for us... all this reminds me of a chapter in the Bible - the book of Romans, chapter 9 ... thank you for sharing this adorable bird with us and stimulating our hearts and minds :)
