I had to give this another try. Rebuilt the scene in Carrara 8.5 Beta, as I could not import it. Some of the old clothing for V3 and M3 did not work either so I used others. Some of the clothing I used in the first version was old stuff from Daz3D, made for Poser. Parts of the clothing would work, others would not - became awfully distorted. Posing in Carrara 8.5 is not as easy as it is in Poser or Daz Studio, but with some patience it works. I still am not really satisfied with the lighting, but there is progress since the DS 4.5 version. Basically I started out with a preset in Carrara, but changed it very much and then added spots to light up specific areas. I also had to work a bit with transparency and some texture settings, as they did not translate very well from Poser or DS formats. Rendered in Carrara - 3Dlight, brightness and contrast slightly corrected in Photoshop. M3 with 19th century suit both from Daz3D V3 from Daz3D with Honey's Japanese clothing.
